Wind Point Partners-backed Ascensus Specialties agreed to acquire Callery, which produces boranes and specialty alcoholates. The deal is expected to closed within 30 days. Financial details were not disclosed. Wind Point originally acquired Ascensus from Dow Chemical in 2015.
Genstar Capital closed its investment in Worldwide Facilities, a national wholesale insurance broker. Lovell Minnick Partners is exiting its investment in Worldwide after four years. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sheridan Capital Partners invested in Oral Surgery Partners, an oral surgery practice management company. Sheridan invested alongside the company's surgeons and management, who have maintained ownership in the business. The deal was led by Sean Dempsey, Jonathan Lewis, Christopher McCrory and Jonathan Gavron at Sheridan.
New State Capital Partners made a significant investment in Computer Data Source (CDS), which provides data center third-party maintenance, focused on high-end data storage. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Members of the senior management team invested in the company and will remain in place. Ron Wollner, CDS's co-founder, maintains an equity stake and will remain a senior adviser to the board.
Blackstone hires ex-Navab exec to focus on healthcare growth investments, Kline Hill preps Fund III
Arsenal Capital Partners hired Michael Bernstein to its healthcare team. Bernstein will join as an operating partner and focus on investments in outsourced business services, payers and care provision. Bernstein joins from Baird Capital Partners, where he was a partner leading the firm's investments in healthcare since 2014. Prior to Baird, Bernstein worked for more than 20 years as president and CEO of various healthcare companies.
Carlyle Group hired Bruce Larson as head of human resources, leading a global team and based in Washington, D.C. He will join the firm on Nov. 4. Larson formerly worked at Goldman Sachs as a partner and head of human capital in Asia Pacific and India.
