Cambridge Associates appointed David Druley chairman and chief executive, effective July 1, 2016. Druley, 49, will replace Sandra Urie as part of a long-term succession plan. Philip Walton, 45, will take over from Druley as president.

New Enterprise Associates led a $4.5 million Series A funding round for VividCortex, a provider of database analytics software. Previous investors including Battery Ventures and Jaffray Woodriff also participated.
Venrock has completed a $15.7 million Series B funding round for Evident.io, a provider of security and compliance software for cloud computing platforms. Bain Capital and True Ventures have previously invested in Evident.io.
Trilantic Capital Management led a $375 million capital raise in Indigo Minerals, a natural gas producer. Trilantic invested $300 million, while existing investors the Martin Companies, Yorktown Partners, and Ridgemont Equity Partners together contributed the remaining $75 million.
